OUR MISSION
Shruthilaya is committed to teaching Carnatic music to young and old alike. Having a solid foundation in music is beneficial in more ways than one. Classes are held in Naperville. Students are placed in groups according to age and meet once a week.
SHAILAJA IYER
Shailaja’s formal training in Carnatic music began at a very young age. She is a Gold Medalist in Music from Bangalore University.She continued her music studies at the esteemed Kalakshtra school for music. Shailaja has a vast repertoire of krithis that include rare compositions. She has been teaching Carnatic music to aspirants of all ages and has an excellent rapport with her students. She constantly motivates them to give their best.
